Our “Institutional ” extra long white plastic shower rings / hooks add extra length (from 4.5 inches up to 8.5 inches) to any size shower curtain or will make up the difference for a higher than normal installed shower rods. Our rings can save you time from having to move your shower rod or spending more funds to purchase a longer shower curtain or having custom a shower curtain made for your specific installation. By using our rings, you will have more choices of color and style by being able to use any standard size shower curtain. The rings are designed to work on a standard residential shower curtain rod with a diameter of 1.0 inch. Please note they will not work on a commercial shower rod with the diameter of 1.25 inches. Now you can keep your bathroom floors clean, dry and safe by having an appropriate length of shower curtain. How do I know what size of shower ring to order? Simply measure the inside diameter of your current curtain rings ( e.g. 2.0 “) then measure the size of the gap from the bottom of your curtain to the shower pan, less a ½ inch for your curtain to be able to hang to dry without touching the pan ( eg 3.0”). In this example, you would order a set of twelve 5.0 inch long shower rings.
- Available in any length from 4.5 inches to 8.5 inches (in half inch increments). These extension or extra long shower rings add extra length to any shower curtain.
- Each rings is made up using two“C” shaped white plastic which have a rubber tube spacer in between and are sold as a set of twelve rings. Ideal option to replace the need to purchase an 78”,84”,90”or 96” long shower curtain.
- These rings are designed to work on either a standard residential shower curtain rod diameter of 1.0 inch. These rings will not work on a commercial shower rod with the diameter of 1.25 inches.
- What length to order? Measure inside diameter of your current rings plus the size of the gap you want to eliminate, less ½ inch to allow your curtain to hang to dry without touching shower pan.
